USS McMorris 1965-1966 Year Book

I came on board the USS McMorris DE1036 after Sonar School in San Diego. I don't remember the exact date but it was in 1963.
I found the Mac Web site 06/27/2001 at http://www.geocities.com/ussmcmorris/.
After viewing the web site I found that there was little information about the Mac during the time I was aboard. Some of the pictures and events were almost the same as when I was aboard. Like following the Russian Missile Ship.. We followed a Russian ship off the Aleutian Islands. After they fired a missile we had a launch in the water and acted as if we had picked up a part of the missile. We strung a fathometer so we could declare we had the right of way. Similar to the stories on the web pages.
I have scanned all of the pages in my year book, including the pages with individual remarks. When I received my year book I entered a number of names so I would remember who was who. I am submitting the pages of my year book for the possible interest of others.
I have other pictures at home that I am going to dig out and try to submit for the web site in the near future. I will possibably be moving to a new address in the future. The state of Texas is building a new highway 190 which looks like it will go over my existing property within the next 2-3 years.
